Will This Clay Pomade Work for You?
Most hair, yes. What changes is how much you use.
Fine or thin hair. This is where clay works the best. It gives hair volume and texture, making it appear more full.
Thick or coarse hair. Use a little more. It holds the shape without going stiff and stays workable all day.
Wavy or curly hair. Gives you separation and texture without the crunch. Damp hair keeps the pattern, dry hair loosens it.
New to clay. It runs drier than a pomade and grabs faster. Emulsify it longer and start with less.
If you want shine, this is not the one. Clay runs matte dry and that is the point of it.

How to Use
Start small. Scoop a fingernail to pea sized amount and emulsify it between your palms until it spreads clear and thins out. That is how you know it is ready.
Work it through evenly with your fingers, hitting the areas that need the most hold and separation first. Shape it with a comb if you want it cleaner.
Dry hair. Full matte finish with the most texture and control.
Slightly damp hair. A little more movement, still matte.
Need more hold? Add a little on top and work it in. It layers without getting heavy.
Pro Tips
Blow dry it for a drier matte. Put the clay in first, then hit it on medium heat while you shape with your fingers or a vented brush. Sets the hold faster and takes out any shine that is left.
Layer it, do not load it. Overloading the first pass is how you end up with product you cannot work with. Add a little on top instead.
Day two, do not add more. Wet your hands, run them through, and reshape it. You get another day out of it without another scoop.

Ingredients that pull their weight
Bentonite and kaolin clay. The backbone of the formula. Absorbs oil, adds texture, and gives you the dry matte finish. Grip and structure without the stiffness.
Beeswax. Adds hold and body without coating the hair. Keeps the formula pliable so you can restyle through the day.
Glycerin and macadamia derived emollients. Moisture balance. Keeps hair soft instead of dry and brittle.
Horsetail extract. A quiet one. Rounds out the formula in the background.
Gardenia fragrance. Fresh and clean. Lasts all day without announcing itself.
Paraben free. Sulfate free. Shampoo takes it out.
